In 2018, I was honored to be welcomed aboard as a product designer at Nosto. As a member of a talented team comprised of developers and a product manager, I was entrusted with the delivery of various new products and the upkeep of existing ones. Our approach to each project was rooted in an agile methodology, and we worked tirelessly in two-week sprints to bring our clients' vision to life.
My initial project, Dynamic Bundles, was particularly memorable. This solution aimed to provide eCommerce platforms with the ability to create dynamic collections with ease. Working in close collaboration with the product manager, we engaged with our clients to gain a deeper understanding of their requirements. Armed with this knowledge, we meticulously planned and designed the solution, utilizing Figma's prototyping capabilities to test and refine our ideas. The end result was a product that exceeded our clients' expectations, and I felt proud to have been a part of the team that brought it to fruition.
Another notable project that I was assigned was the development of a complex and innovative solution for personalizing and merchandising category pages on webshops. The project required months of research, as well as countless iterations and consultations with clients. However, our persistence paid off, and we were eventually able to develop an enterprise tool that was both flexible and simple to use. As the project was especially demanding, I was pleased to contribute my coding skills and help bring it to completion.
In addition to my assigned projects, I took the initiative to improve our design system. Over the course of the year, I implemented a number of improvements, such as Slack notifications, better documentation, and other refinements, all aimed at making our lives easier and more efficient.
